Winner of the 2018 Molière Award for Best Musical for *L’Histoire du Soldat*, violinist Gabriele Slizyte studied in Paris before going on to further her training in Germany under Dalia Richter, concertmaster of the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra.

She subsequently joined several French orchestras and performs regularly in prestigious venues such as the Philharmonie de Paris, the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and La Seine Musicale.

As a chamber musician, Gabriele has taken part in numerous festivals, including the International Chamber Music Festival in Charente, Nancyphonies, the Festival des Forêts in Compiègne, and the radio programme “Générations France Musique, le live”. In 2021, she performed alongside Martha Argerich to mark the centenary of the American Art Schools in Fontainebleau.

Deeply committed to cultural outreach, she engages with diverse audiences in collaboration with the Opéra national de Lorraine, the Orchestre Pasdeloup, the Orchestre de chambre de Paris and the Ensemble intercontemporain. A member of the Open Chamber Orchestra, she is regularly involved in recording projects.

Having remained close to her native Lithuania, Gabriele is regularly invited to perform at Independence Day celebrations, notably at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg and for the Lithuanian community in France. In 2024, she co-organised a Franco-Lithuanian international partnership as well as a ‘Lithuanian Week’ at the CRR in Paris.
