Juliette Greer

violin

The American-French violinist brings vibrant energy and versatility to every stage-whether as chamber musician, soloist, or orchestral leader. In 2022, she was a finalist at the International Bach Competition in Leipzig, and in May 2024, she made her Carnegie Hall debut at Weill Recital Hall with the New York-based baroque ensemble Twelfth Night.

Equally devoted to chamber music, Juliette has appeared at Kneisel Hall, Perlman Chamber Music Program, Thy Chamber Music Festival, and Miesbach Kammermusik Festival. With her quartet, Quartet Amizia, she is a Fellow at the Valley of the Moon Music Festival, where she regularly performs 19th century music on gut strings and mentors young artists in chamber music. Quartet Amizia enjoys collaborations on gut and steel strings, most recently recording Schumann 2nd String Quartet during an Artist Residency at Yellow Barn.

She has led the Juilliard Orchestra, NEC Symphony, and Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic as concertmaster, and recently founded the New York-based ensemble EchoNova where she leads the group in programs spanning several musical centuries.

Since January 2025, she has been performing with the Orchestre de Paris, following her selection for their 2024 Académie. With them, she has toured Europe and Asia under the baton of Klaus Mäkelä. Starting September 2025, she was appointed Visiting Violin Professor at Penn State School of Music as a sabbatical replacement for the fall semester.

Juliette studied at New England Conservatory, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Juilliard School, with musical guidance from Ayano Ninomiya, Andrés Cárdenes, Joseph Lin, and Areta Zhulla.
